The England national rugby union team represents England in rugby union. They compete in the annual Six Nations Championship with France, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, and Wales. They have won this championship on 25 occasions, 12 times winning the Grand Slam. England also compete for the Calcutta Cup with Scotland as part of the Six Nations. They are ranked sixth in the world by the International Rugby Board as of 21 June 2010. England won the Rugby World Cup in 2003 and finished runner-up in 1991 and 2007
A New Zealand M?ori team first toured overseas in 1908 when they visited Australia. This tour was a success, and was followed by another tour to Australia in 1909 and to Great Britain in 1910.
A separate body, the M?ori Rugby League Board of Control, was formed in 1934 to administer the game in M?ori communities. This governing body was later renamed the Aotearoa M?ori Rugby League and in 1992 it was registered as an incorporated society.
